cadence. is phase-gate project management. A project is a spine of phases; every phase ends at a gate with criteria that someone has to sign off before the next phase starts. That is the whole idea, and everything else in the product exists to make it fast rather than bureaucratic.

Conventions in these docs
Anything marked Pro or Enterprise needs a paid plan. Everything else works on the free plan.
Shortcuts are written as key caps: ⌘+K means Command on macOS and Control everywhere else. Two-key sequences are written as g then p — press them one after the other, not together.
