Profile & preferences

Open Profile from the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar.

Your profile#

• Name and avatar — how you appear in assignee pickers, comments and presence indicators. Upload an image; it is stored in your workspace.
• Job title and department — descriptive fields that make the team directory readable.
• Skills — the capabilities you have. These are matched against the skills tasks require during automatic allocation, so it is worth keeping them accurate rather than aspirational.

Account and password#

Change your password from your profile. If you cannot sign in, use Forgot password on the login page to get a reset link by email.

Accounts created with Google sign in through Google — there is no separate cadence. password to manage.

Theme#

cadence. follows your operating system's light/dark setting by default. Override it from the account menu, or toggle it with alt+T. The choice is per browser.

View preferences#

Some choices are remembered for you rather than for the team:

• Phase view — list, kanban or Gantt, remembered across projects.
• Completed tasks — whether they show in your task list.
• Bookmarks — the sidebar shortcuts you have pinned.

None of these change anything for anyone else.

Replaying onboarding#

The setup wizard can be run again from the account menu — useful when you want to create another starter project from a template, or when you skipped it the first time and want to see what it offers.
