Your daily view

Home, My tasks, notifications and bookmarks — the four places that answer "what should I be doing right now?"

Projects are how work is organised. This page is about how you find your part of it.

Home

Home is the first thing you see after signing in. It opens with a sentence rather than a list — how many decisions are waiting, how many projects you carry, and how your own week looks, ending with a verdict on the portfolio: usually which project is slipping and why.

Below it:

  • an onboarding checklist while your workspace is still being set up, which disappears once you have finished it,
  • decisions — the things only you can settle: a gate ready to close, a critical task with no owner, a mention waiting on an answer. A gate that is ready can be passed from here without opening the project,
  • gates — every project you manage, worst gate first, with its readiness score and the top reason behind it,
  • my work — your own tasks for the week, split into overdue, today and this week.

If you manage no projects, the gates band is simply absent.

Your own overdue task is deliberately not a decision: it is work, and it sits under my work where it already sorts to the top. Keeping the two apart is what stops the page telling you the same thing twice.

Nothing on the page is written by a model. Every number is counted and every verdict is scored — see Gate readiness for the rules.

My tasks

Home → My tasks is the full list of everything assigned to you, across every project, sorted so the work that matters soonest is at the top.

Completed tasks are hidden by default; a toggle brings them back when you need to check what you finished. Each task shows which project and phase it belongs to, so you can act without opening anything.

Every field is editable from the list. Most days you should be able to run your morning from this page alone.

Notifications

Notifications collects the things that happened to you:

TypeFires when
Task assignedA task is assigned to you
MentionedSomeone @-mentions you in a comment
Comment on assigned taskSomeone comments on a task assigned to you
Comment on participated taskSomeone comments on a task you have commented on
Reacted to commentSomeone reacts to your comment
Reacted to taskSomeone reacts to a task you own
Reacted to projectSomeone reacts to a project you manage

Mark them read one at a time, or clear the lot with mark all as read. Unread count shows in the sidebar.

The last three exist because a reaction is often the whole reply — a 👍 on a status update is a real signal, and it should not be silent.

Bookmarks

Bookmark a project, phase, task or tag and it appears under Bookmarks in the sidebar, with its status. Bookmarks are personal — pinning something does not change it for anyone else.

The useful pattern: bookmark the two or three things you are actively driving, and clear them when they land. A bookmark list of fifteen items is just the projects list again.

Putting it together

A workable daily loop:

  1. Notifications — deal with anything aimed at you.
  2. My tasks — work the top of the list.
  3. Bookmarks — check the things you are driving but not personally doing.

Everything else — project pages, portfolio dashboards, reports — is for when someone asks a question, not for finding your next action.
